What we do . . .
Heritage Digitals receives from you eight or more of your treasured photo albums. Two weeks later your photo albums are ready for delivery, and along with them you'll get a beautiful DVD set--one one playable DVD per album and one data DVD for the project. If you'd like to buy a digital photo-frame, we can set one up for you with all your newly-digitized photos (we'll bring a sample photoframe so you can see what we're talking about--you're going to want one for Christmas!). If you'd like to have multiple sets of the the DVD media (to give each of your kids, for example), we can help you with that, too.
We take your photo albums and loose photos and carefully create digital imprints of each photo. Once the photos have been digitized, they can be easily transferred onto DVDs for safe-keeping and for easy display on any TV.

Heritage Digitals is a family business created to help friends and family transform their closet-fulls of old photo albums into lasting DVD archives that can be shared among friends and relatives and stored securely.
Each of our Heritage Digitals local partners uses state-of-the-art digitizing equipment to safely preserve your pictures in digital form. These partners are members of your community and have been trained by our staff in the areas of digitization and customer service. We fully trust each local partner to protect your most treasured memories and treat you with respect. This all sounds great but what happens when the DVDs become outdated as media so quickly does these days?
The media format of DVDs may become old-fashioned within 6 years, but the digital file format is here to stay. We could just as well give clients a thumb drive or a compact flash card with their newly digitized data on it, but it's the data that is important--it is the data that is reproducible among all the family members and useful for making photo prints and putting on a digital picture frame or a celebratory slide show or movie.
Your photo albums are safe with us. Our digitizing gear is set up so that your photographs stay where they can be best protected--right in the album where they've been safely kept for years. Alternatively, you may give us the photographs individually and we will handle them with care.
